I used Gothic Beauty Tin Toppers for this little flip out album
I thought they were so pretty even though they have skulls on them
Of course I had to add flowers
Each background has different stencil pattern with graphite paste used through it
I used some bling brooches for some sparkle
And my favourite light weight paperclay embellishments scattered around on each one - flowers and border strips
Each image is backed with some card stock that I rubbed a white gold wax over
This canvas was turned over so the image is recessed and makes it look
I printed the image big enough to fit the canvas then with a sharp craft knife I cut around the edges of the inside of the canvas so it left a frame on the outside of the canvas
I didn’t bother to paint the whole canvas cause I was planning to cover it all with the centre piece of paper that I cut off the image I printed out
I cut the centre piece out a little bit so it fit more like a mat for the photo and you could also see the black background for contrast
Here I have just added the image to a cardboard piece to raise it up for height inside the canvas
I love metal embellishments - just added a couple here and there
One of my favourite embellishments is paperclay it’s so light and versatile and can be painted in any medium
Great for any project cause it’s so light it won’t make it too heavy if you want to hang it on the wall
I made sure to embellish beside the photo as well so there wasn’t an empty space
I painted all the paperclay bits black then went over them with white gold wax
I found a chain of bling which I cut apart
They have leaves as well as the oval piece so it looks like a flower
Thank you for coming and I hope you will come back soon xx
