Family is For Memory Maze

Hey Everyone

This project for Memory Maze is for a very special friend who lost one of her family members Uncle Lyleczku one of her beloved poodles

I painted the canvas in Pomegranate Dylusions paint then stencilled over the top with impasto once it was dry I rubbed Vintage Gold wax over the top of the raised area to make it stand out more

I used the Family from the Family Hearts set and painted it in the same colour and rubbed it over with the gold as well then rapped the stem from the flower vine through it

Here I used Graphite paste through the Mini Noughts and Crosses Stencil so I could put some hugs and kisses because that's what this stencil is for me

I used some of Tim Holtz word quote stickers and the ones I used were -
Hello my darling
with brave wings she flies (I coloured out the s)
adventure awaits you
I thought they all suited his new adventure he was having up in heaven xx

Bird for Colour Blast April Challenge

Hey everyone

I loved this months challenge at Colour Blast Creative Corner Facebook Page because I got to use another Owl picture and my owl stencil

I used the Colour Blast Colour Paste in Snow White it's so shimmery I love it

I used 3 of the Shimmer Dusts In Peacock, Lollipop and Duke on the background of the canvas
I love how vibrant they are but you can water them down and make them more like water colours if you want and then you can also mix them to make other colours

I used some art stones for some more texture and dimension

And of course I had to add an Owl embellishment I painted his belly with the Shimmer Dust in Lollipop because it looks like a heart

Thanks for visiting I hope you will come back soon xx

What a Wonderful World For Helmar

Hi Everyone I'm sharing my first project I created for Helmar

I started off with a canvas that I had layered plaster (like you use when you have a broken arm) roughly over it, once it dried I painted it with black gesso

I then sprinkled a variety  of Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical's to give a colourful background, I love the way they go into all the grooves and give you several colours in the one colour

I then sprayed some muslin with the Helmar Spray Adhesive to attach it to the canvas with out it being stuck completely down I still wanted it to have movement

IMG_1318

I used the Helmar Gemstone Glue to adhere the little diamonds into the metal cabochon - it's great because it dries clear and they look like they were always there

These Flower Sticks are from Memory Maze and I painted them with some watercolour paints I had on hand

IMG_1322

I used my favourite glue the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive for adhering everything to the canvas

Make sure you check out our BLOG and see what our very creative
Design Team have come up with
This project was inspired by a new friend that helped me with some healing
(it's part of her Job) she has a business OptiMystic Xzavia she's an Intuitive Healer who
also does yourChakras, massage, past life healings and lots more
you can find her on Facebook

Anyway I made this for her as she was only supposed to spend an hour with me and
ended up spending over an hour
I started with a white plastic frame and painted it with the Finnabair Patina Effect Paste Brass
water in all the grooves of the frame and then on some of the edges

The background I used some modelling paste
Once that was dry I used some Lindy's Tea Pot Purple Spray and some
into the grooves of the Memory Maze Wire Door stencil

I also coloured a lot of the embellishments with the same colours so it all blended

I used some metal to break it up a bit as well

Thanks for visiting I hope you will be back soon xx

Toffee Crunch for White With 1

Hey everyone

This month over at White With 1 the colour is Toffee Crunch isn't a yummy colour

This is a photo of my gorgeous daughter taken down at the 12 Apostles

I used the Tim Holtz Oxides in Vintage Photo for my Toffee Crunch  colour
I used some plastic to rub the ink pad on the sprayed it and then dabbed over the stencilled area

I inked the Dream Catcher  from Memory Maze with the Vintage Photo Oxide ink and stamped with a dotted stamp randomly over my layout with the same ink

I used impasto with the Pavement Stencil from Memory Maze I like the shine that the impasto gives

Then embellished with a few ephemera pieces, metal, flowers and some art stones to finish the page off

Thank you for visiting I hope you will be back soon xx
