Baby Girl For Helmar

Hey Everyone

My turn on the Helmar blog
This time I decided to create a layout showing how you can use a few different glues depending on what you need to adhere to your layout

Helmar have every type of glue you could ever need

I started off with the Acid Free glue to adhere the different papers together and then to the cardboard

I used the Craft Glue (this is a clear thick glue) to adhere the cardboard to the background paper that I had stencilled on I wanted to make sure I used thicker glue to make sure it stuck because of the stencilled pattern

The Fabric glue for the lace and then some Liquid Scrap Dots to give the butterfly some height without having cardboard or foam that you have to try and cut to fit to size

For the rest of the embellishments I used 450 Quick Dry Adhesive because I know it sticks everything from the chipboard to the metal

The Baby Girl chipboard is from Memory Maze and I painted it with Finnabair's Impasto Acrylic Paints - Rasberry Pink and Snow White, then stamped over it with a background stamp that I have in my stash
I also randomly stamped over my background paper which is a 7 Dots Writer's Block Sincerely which is an older range but you can still get at some stores

The butterfly is a sticker sheet that is just butterflies from an old range from Kaisercraft so are the words sing, laugh and dance

Lots of embellishments that I've had for a while in my stash

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will be back soon xx

Strong For Memory Maze

Hey Everyone

My turn on the Memory Maze Blog and couldn't wait to use the BOHO Skull and Feathers with a Dreamcatcher Chipboard Set I love this set it's awesome there is so much in this set to use

I saw this Quote online and thought it was so true and wanted to use it

I started of by using some of the Colour Blast Bling Colour Paste, then used some of Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint - Rusty Red, Pink Blush and Vintage Rose adding water here and there to mix the colours a bit and to also make them lighter and darker in different areas
After the paint dried I went over the paint with the Colour Blast Bling Colour Paste with the Skin Stencil so the Bling Colour Paste would stand out more

I used the Colour Blast Bling Colour Paste on the Chipboard Feather which is also from the BOHO Skull and Dream Catcher set I love how when you heat the paste it bubbles so it gave it lots of texture

I added some flowers, some Bling in a little bottle and scattered some Art Ingredient Art Stones mixed with some Helmar Tacky Craft Glue

I used some Colour Blast Colour Paste Snow White on the head of the skull and then the Antler I used the Rust Paste to make it look old then added lots of flowers to the top of the head for more dimension

I added the Art Stones and some of the  Rust Paste over the top of the flowers and then randomly added some Art Pebbles

Memory Maze Products I used -

Thanks for visiting and I hope you come back soon xx

Be Different for White With 1 Challenge

Hey Everyone

This months challenge at White With 1 is such a pretty colour

Here's what I did
I love owls and when I came across this photo on google I had to use it
It's too cute not too

I had a little pack of papers from a raffle I won it's for the Instapix Cameras they had stickers and other papers but this one was perfect

I stamped around the edge of the paper with a KaiserCraft Doily stamp

I used a piece of lace and sewed it so it made it look like a tutu then embellished over the top of twitch some flowers and art stones

The Butterfly was from a KaiserCraft sticker sheet that has been around for a while and that was just  the right colour too

Because I love owls I have lots of embellishments and had this one for a while and didn't want to use it but this was the perfect page for it
The Flair button was just right

Thanks for visiting and I hope you visit again soon xx

Oz for Colour Blast Challenge

Hey Everyone

I loved this months challenge at Colour Blast Creative Corner - Use lots of chipboard

being on a chipboard DT makes it a bit easier as I have a few bits of off cuts that I could use as well as a few things like a cow which I had no idea what I was going to use him for as I have no photos with my children on a farm over the years LOL
Wizard of Oz is one of my favourite movies and I can watch it over and over and still find things I've not seen before so if you look close in this frame you should do the same theres little things that relate to the movie you may not get straight away but if you think outside the box you may get them

I used the Wrought Iron chipboard as the Yellow Brick Road with some Bling Colour Paste

I love this quote its ver

All the chipboard I have used is from Memory Maze -Wrought Iron,

Thanks for visiting I hope you will come back soon xx

Upcycled Insrtument for Helmar

Hi Everyone

For my Helmar project I'm doing and Upcycled Instrument so I got a little guitar

I started of by painting the guitar with some black gesso the
I used some Frank Garcia Artisan Powders in Umber and Clay to paint it so it sort of gave it a timber look

After I finished painting them on I then went outside and sprayed some Crystal Kote Fixative spray to make sure the powder is secure and won't come off (make sure you spray out in the open as it does have a bit of a smell)

I then fussy cut some paper flowers and glued them on with Super Tac Glue
But once I had them on I didn't like them so with a nappy wipe I took them off and you couldn't even see where they were

I then started to paint my embellishments with the Finnabair Rust Paste in the brown, rust and a little of the patina I used chipboard  cogs from Memory Maze and some paperclay pieces that my mum made for me

Here I used some Acid Free Glue to add paper tape randomly over the guitar but it ends up getting covered with the embellishments

I had some pretty lace flower so I used the Fabric Glue  to stick them down with it's so tacky and they certainly won't be going anywhere

I made a YouTube Video so you could see the whole process it's a nice short one and I'd really love it if you subscribed to my channel so you can keep up to date with what I've been doing

So now for the finished product
