I am lucky enough to be welcomed back to the Helmar Design Team
You can see all the design teams work on the Blog and see handy tips on ways to use the different adhesives they have
So my first project is a princess carriage album made with mdf (I don’t remember the company I got it from)
I’ve used the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive (one of my favourite glues Helmar sells)
I like using the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive on things like this that have fussy cutting around timber
It dries fast obviously and for me that’s perfect for me cause I’m impatient lol but it also has a strong hold and you can cut around the edges within minutes of glueing it down
I used a full patterned paper on the background of the carriage
For the doors I used a plainer pattern that just had a little flower on an edge
Then added some embellishments including a brooch as the handle for the doors
Along the doors I used some paperclay so it looks like a window sill
Here you can see the beautiful flower paper on the doors that will eventually have some photos on them or maybe I’ll have some pages in here to add photos too
I added gold paint instead of the darker pink as it makes it pop so much more
Thank you for visiting and I hope you’ll be back soon xx
