Scrapbook Fantasies had a cyber crop this week in their Facebook group
I only managed to get one project finished, I started on another one but didn’t like it so have pulled it apart and am redoing it
I used the Dreamland patterned paper #1 and cut it into the floorboards
I then cut the white door from the Cottage Garden pattered paper #4 as a focal point (I love the old doors so much character)
I backed the door with some Rice Collage Paper from the Mermaid Wishes Collection and the Magical Memories Flower pattern vellum was used behind the girl and under the door as well
One of the cybercrop challenges was a Tic Tac Toe I chose Sequins, Gold and Stencil
I used some of the Steampunk & Feathers Colour Cuts
Here you can see the little pink sequins I dotted around randomly
This was a great challenge as I’ve had these in my stash for ever, it made me use something I’d forgotten about (now they’ll be on everything hahaha)
To incorporate some gold I added a gold paper clay frame
I also used a small brush and went along all the edges of everything to add a gold rim to make it all pop
The gold paint is Jane Davenport’s Gessoh!
It’s so lovely and vibrant
I love bees and the Bee stencil is perfect with all the different sized bees on it
Impasto is great to use with stencils, it adds texture without making it too obvious or taking it away from your patterned papers
I added a few flowers around for contrast and that’s it
Thank you for visiting I hope you come back soon xx
