New products from Scrapbook Fantasies
Nothing beats new products to play with
I used a calico placemat (placemats are my new favourite substrate to work on)
I painted some Oh My Gold Gessoh across the background I love the look I feel like it looks like honey
I used some gel medium and the bee stencil across the background for some texture not that it shows alot in the photos
I made some sunflowers with paperclay and painted them with some Art by Marlene’s acrylic paints
I had a straw that had bees on it which worked well with everything else and added a flair on top
Using the Queen bee rice paper I cut out each of the elements and tore the edges so they weren’t so straight
Added some gauze for texture
The bee chippie cuts I used gold wax and used gold dots to look like a swirl where the bee had flown
These bees I tore out from the Queen Bee rice paper sheet
Here you can see the bees where I used the stencil they almost look wet
This quote is so fun I know so many smaller women and it’s so perfect for them
This project was done on an acrylic board I had from a frame that I wasn’t using
I love the look it gives almost see through
I used the Steampunk and Feathers Colour Cuts and the Boho Bliss Feather Cuts and layered them together
Then added some flowers that matched with the colours of the feathers
I made some paperclay feathers and added a flower flair
The owl made from paperclay I painted with some orange and then a light wipe of white over the top
Here you can see the stencil and how it’s almost see through
I used a watercolour orange across the back and then a wash of white and added a border around the edge after painting it with some Art by Marlene’s acrylic paint and a white wash
Thank you for looking and I hope you’ll come back soon x
