2 projects for Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge

Hey Everyone

This Month on the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge Blog we are having the Challenge
Our sponsor is Deco Art and they are giving a great prize of a Mixed Media Starter Kit

We have had a few Designers that have had some things come up and couldn't do their projects this month so I am sharing two projects

Make sure you check out the Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team have created

The first I created a canvas of one of my favourite photos of my son on his christening day
His God Mother was holding him but all he wanted to do was talk to me my sweet little man

I used an old KaiserCraft paper I had in my stash that I cut up and used across the top

I used paint in a blue for the background of the canvas then used a diamond stencil with impasto
Then over the top of the stencilled pattern I added some a cream colour and wiped back some of it to add another dimension

I added a few embellishments and some Art Stones using some Helmar Tacky Craft Glue

The 2nd is the Page - Ballerina Baby
I created of my daughter's niece (there are 3 at this stage) when she wasn't quite 1 making it look like she was standing in 2nd position, her aunty was a Ballerina for quite a long time so it's highly likely that one of the 3 girls will dance

I used a stencil in the background then used a pale turquoise paint and added some water to it so it was thinned down
I left it a bit darker over some of the other areas
And added some to the Art Stones I added randomly around the embellished areas

I then added my embellishments including a special event ticket which I thought was cute and of course flowers and bling

I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the word Ballerina and then painted them in the same pink paint that I splattered over the background

I had a little rub on of the word baby and thought it was perfect to go under the word Ballerina

Thank you for visiting and I hope you come back soon xx
