B Fearlessly Authentic for Memory Maze

Hey Everyone

I started to do 5D Diamond Paintings and thought I'd like to put one in a frame and use a bit of mixed media with it
So for my Memory Maze Blog post this time I used another owl LOL what can I say I'm a bit obsessed with them
With all the Memory Maze products I used silver leaf

I stared by adding a paper frame around the canvas 5D diamond Painting (which wasn't easy just saying)

I then used Mini No 5 Wire Stencil with texture paste once it dried I used Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Dusts in Lollipop, Sunshine and Peacock

Here you can see both the Wrought Iron 40 with the silver leaf which I glued with the Helmar Tacky Craft Glue

Which I also did on Heart from the Globes and the B Fearlessly Authentic
Under neath the heart I used some Charms Creations hearts from two different packs and a paper clay piece that my mum made for me

Here you can see some Petal flowers I've had for ever and thought this would be a perfect project to use them on
I also used some metal that I've had in my stash
The little bottles are filled with extra beads from other 5D Diamond Paintings I've done
And you can see the Super Pinned Bling there how pretty is it
I also love flair buttons and am getting quite a collection and now thanks too It's and Bits Craft Supplies I've found a whole lot more to add to my collecion

This gorgeous tree of life was from a friends store that was a broken item she had
She thought of me which I'm so thankful for because it's so pretty and was perfect for this project

I am me for Colour Blast

Hey Everyone

This project for Colour Blast was made for a new friend for a reminder of where she has come from and where she has been in her life

Make sure you visit the Colour Blast Blog and discover what fabulous creations have been made over there lately

So I started of by painting everything with the Colour Blast White Gesso to give everything a nice even surface to work on
I then mixed in some Colour Mica Powder Espresso with some clear gesso too make a nice shimmery colour for the frame and some of the embellishments
It's a shame the camera doesn't pick up the shimmer
Tip - Make sure to put the powder in first that way you won't get the dust floating up as you mix it together

Then on a few of my embellishments that I used the Colour Mica powder mix on I added Colour Embossing Powders - Bling and Sienna just a little sprinkle on them for some contrast

On the Memory Maze Ladies form with decorative wings I added the Bling so it would stand out and then used some Colour Artist Ink in Slipper which I also added to a few of the other embellishments to brighten up the piece

On the background of the frame I glued some material using the Helmar Super-Tac Glue it's a good strong glue and keeps things in place for ever
I then too some Colour Artist Inks in Soot and Rust and added them to the background spraying water as I went until I was happy with the colours

Then the fun begins arranging everything I placed a sheer piece of fabric in the back under all the flowers to soften things
I thought I'd use yellow flowers as it's such a happy colour and the quote is quite heavy and deep and then the little pink paper clay embellishments scattered I think add a bit of fun

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come back soon x

Gift of Love for Helmar

Hey Everyone

This project I created for Helmar is an album for a friend who is giving it to his girlfriend for her birthday
There are pages inside the album that I also used the Helmar Glues on but they are personal so I didn't share those with you
So it's a short blog post this time

On the cover background I used texture paste with a  Heart, Butterfly and Cogs Stencil  from Memory Maze then used Colour Shimmer Dusts in Velvet and a spritz of Lollipop which I have made up in a water bottle from Colour Blast

I used another Memory Maze stencil this time Noughts and Crosses to make it look like hugs and kisses I also used some of the Memory Maze chipboard through out the album

For all of the photos I used the Acid Free Glue
Each page had more detail but like I said they were private and I couldn't share I just shared this on so you could see that I'd used the Acid Free Glue for the photos

With the embellishments I used Finnabair's Royal Robes wax and then Old Silver lightly over the top to bring out the details

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come back soon x

Start Over for Memory Maze

Hey Everyone

This weeks project is for Memory Maze Laser Cut Chipboard check out the website for all the fantastic products and make sure your favourite store stocks them
Make sure you check out the Blog for great inspiration from the Design Team every week

This project was for a friend that seen something I had made and asked for me to make them something so I showed them some quotes I had printed and this is the one they picked
It's one of my favourites

So I started off with the Door Wire Stencil (one of my favourites) with some texture paste once it was dry I painted it all with some White Gesso from Colour Blast
I also painted all my embellishments and chipboard with it and set them aside to dry while I worked on the canvas

I used Sienna Colour Shimmer Cube (which unfortunately Colour Blast no longer stock due to manufacturing issues hopefully they'll be back one day soon)
Painting it on with lots of water and spraying every now and then as well so it wasn't too intense

I used the largest flourish from the 12 X 12 Flourish Corner Set and cut it up so I could use a piece in either corner otherwise a lot of it would have been covered and I wanted it to be seen
I also painted it with the Sienna Colour Shimmer Cube and then stamped over the top with a Kaisercraft bird cage stamp for some added interest

One of the requests was there be a bird cage on the project somewhere so I had this little metal one and I painted it with and all the other embellishments which are paper clay with Colour Blast's Soot Colour Artist Ink - I added some water too it so it wouldn't be too black but for some reason turned it out blue (lucky for me they love blue) I then made a mix of the Dorland's Wax Medium and  Espresso Colour Mica Powder to rub over the top to add dimension and bring out the details

Then I used some die cuts from Kaisercraft to add making sure there was a bird cage on one of them

The stem with buds I coated them with the wax mixed with the Mica Powder as well because the colour they were didn't go with the colours on the canvas

I added some seed beads randomly and a few Prima Art Pebbles for dimension

Beautiful Moment for Colour Blast

Hey Everyone

This picture is of my daughter Natalii and her Godmother Kathy at her wedding it's such a beautiful photo of the two of them
I made this as a gift for Kathy that's the reason for the colour
She has copper in her kitchen and family room area and I love the colour so that helps

Make sure you visit the Colour Blast Blog and check out the creativity of the other Design Team members
You can also type in one of the products you're interested in and all the projects that have used that product will come up so you will have lots of ideas to look at

Colour Blast have Sienna in a few of their products including - Colour Paste, Colour Embossing PowderColour Shimmer Spray and the Colour Shimmer Cubes when they were available (hopefully they will be back again one day soon)

I happen to have the Sienna Colour Shimmer Cube
So I made it into a spray in my little water bottle and sprayed the frame randomly until I was happy with the effect and the amount of colour on it
I love how it's gone into the grooves of the frame and how much of a shimmer it has
You will get the same shimmer with the Sienna Colour Shimmer Spray (I just don't have that yet)

I used one of the new stencils with the Sienna Colour Paste in the top corner just for a bit of texture (and I really love how shimmery it is)

Then on a paper clay key hole I added some Sienna Colour Embossing Powder
The powder didn't really like the clay, so it didn't come out as smooth as it normally does but I still like the texture and love the colour

I  painted on some embossing ink on to the top of the flowers with a brush and then dipped them in the Sienna Colour Embossing Powder

To give some added texture and interest to the flowers instead of just plain white ones

Well that's it from me I hope you liked this project and love the Sienna like I do

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come back soon x
