Love Yourself First for Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenges

Hi Everyone
This month over at Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenges our winner will be our Guest Designer for the month of July how exciting xx

This is the very gorgeous granddaughter of a friend who likes to take selfies lol
It's good for me cause my kids are older now and it's really hard to get photos of them at all
So I just steel hers and she gets the pages which she loves
I love the washed out colours in the background and how they flowed
through the stencilled pattern

Thanks for visiting I hope you will be back soon xx

Make sure you check out our BLOG and see what our very creative
Design Team have come up with
This project was inspired by a new friend that helped me with some healing
(it's part of her Job) she has a business OptiMystic Xzavia she's an Intuitive Healer who
also does yourChakras, massage, past life healings and lots more
you can find her on Facebook

Anyway I made this for her as she was only supposed to spend an hour with me and
ended up spending over an hour
I started with a white plastic frame and painted it with the Finnabair Patina Effect Paste Brass
water in all the grooves of the frame and then on some of the edges

The background I used some modelling paste
Once that was dry I used some Lindy's Tea Pot Purple Spray and some
into the grooves of the Memory Maze Wire Door stencil

I also coloured a lot of the embellishments with the same colours so it all blended

I used some metal to break it up a bit as well

Thanks for visiting I hope you will be back soon xx

I used Magical's for the background and added some Glimmer Magic 5ml for extra shimmer
over the background

I used the Vintage Oval Frame and covered it with some Pearl Deco foil and added

lots of flowers of course then glass beads, seed beads and mica flakes

I used some silver leaves I had in my stash

I added some silver balls and a few clear gems them painted a coat of glitter paint over the top of all the embellishments and I'm done

Be You

Hey Everyone

I decided to enter the Lindy's Stamp Gang November Challenge where you had to use at least 2 out of the 5 colours in the pallete

I used the Printers Tray from Memory Maze Designs I decided to use only one photo and this was perfect as it has the sepia tone to it

I started by adding some crackle paste over the tray in random spots, then stencilled a hounds tooth pattern on the background with modelling paste

I then painted the colours randomly then spraying water and drying in between each layer

I love how the sepia went into the cracks to give it depth

I used a few background stamps on the tray to add another dimension

I dipped some flowers and the muslin in a watered down mix of the colours

A sprinkle of micro beads here and there for more texture they add a little shimmer as well

Added flowers, metal and a few other embellishments and that's it

Thanks for visiting I hope you will be back soon xx
