Best Friends

Hi there 

I saw the new range High Tea from KAISERCRAFT  it's so pretty and I couldn't help myself  and use it straight away

Lucky for me I have two beautiful babies that NEED  to be scrapped

 The background paper is the Floral Wallpaper in white so pretty its textured with little flowers and then I used Cup & Saucer which has an awesome peeled wallpaper look to it

and of course you have to have the Collectibles to go with it this pack has so many lovely pieces in the pack

Had to add flowers cause I love them lol

I also added some texture paste to give some dimension

I wiped some  Apple Mist over the background so it wasn't to bright I just wanted a washed look to it

Love for Memory Maze

Chipboard is so versatile you can do so many things with it - stamp on it, emboss it, doodle on it and lots more

I love the saying that I used as it says it all

I love using lots of layers and textures 

I used a couple of different stencils for some extra dimension

I had cut the hearts

Hearts and Flowers for Creative Artiste Mixed Media

This months challenge at Creative Artiste Mixed Media challenges and our sponsor is the lovely Judy who is donating some stamp sets to the winners

I had so much fun with this one

I was in Heathcote with mum and a friend and we had a quick stop before we got to the place where we were staying for a craft retreat
We went into a little gift store where  mum saw some wicker hearts, they were only $3 each so I bought them to alter in some way

I used a shadow box for the depth and stencilled over it and inside it for texture once that was dry I painted it with some ColourArte Primary Elements Red Pearl so shimmery and subtle in colour

The little jars are a stamp I was given which I cut out and coloured with Twinkling H2O's Blue Flame

The wicker heart has been sprinkled with my new favourite product - Lindy's magicals - the set I used is Sweet Treats

They are so cool, if you paint with them they are the colour you expect but if you sprinkle the powder and spray water they have all these other colours

I embellished with some flowers and bling and a few liquid pearl dots here and there and thats it

I created this bottle with the thoughts of while I was traveling I found it washed up on the shore all rusty and covered in debris

Journey for Memory Maze

Hi everyone

I am so lucky to be chosen to be on the Memory Maze Design team and get to play with their awesome products

This is my first project - 

Journey

I painted the back of the transparency with some of the Opal Magic Alchemy paints in four different colours

Once the paint was dry  I glued it onto the canvases then heated it so it shrunk around it - that way all the air bubbles were gone

On the Tree of Hearts I used some rusty paper paint with some brown acrylic paint to give it an old worn look

I used a Pitt Big Brush marker in white over the top of the chipboard to give it a crisp white look

Art Journal for Scrappers Delights

I haven't done a journal page in awhile and when I saw these circles I knew what I wanted to do straight away

I love circles of any type and when I saw these on the Scrappers Delights Store I couldn't go past them - Bling It On Sentiments

I often look on Pinterest for quotes that mean something to me and these two just spoke to me and some of the things I've gone through over the past few years

It's a frame I've had laying around not knowing what to do with it so I started by painting it but the inspiration didn't come to finish it

I finally finished it and this is what I came up with
