I started by painting my frame with black gesso then used a little stencil with some graphite texture paste to add some dimension and interest to the frame
I then used a Lantern stencil on the background paper with impasto once that dried I used some yellow spray to bring out the details
On the papers I used they had different strips and pieces that had different sayings this one was perfect for my photo
My cousin who is in the photo has a shine about her so this embellishment was perfect
And then of course I had to add flowers
And these little embellishments that matched the papers
